Try AI-assisted troubleshooting first. The fastest fix is usually to ask Claude itself: open a chat and say "help me troubleshoot my Lexpert setup." Claude will fetch the agent-readable guide at lexpertframework.com/mcp-help and walk you through it. That page is human-readable too if you'd rather read it yourself.

The Lexpert Framework is in private development. If that doesn't resolve it, reach us directly:

What to include

• Your Lexpert account email
• What you were trying to do
• What happened — paste error messages or attach screenshots
• Claude Desktop version (Settings → About)
• Operating system and architecture (macOS Apple Silicon / Intel, or Windows x64)

Bridge logs

If the extension misbehaves, the bridge log usually has the answer:

• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Lexpert/bridge.log
• Windows: %APPDATA%\Lexpert\bridge.log

Attach the file or paste the last 50 lines.

Known caveats

• First-run sign-in opens your default browser; if it doesn't appear, check pop-up blockers.
• The Texas family-law SkillSet is the only practice area in active dogfood; other practice areas in the tool catalog are in development.
• Subscription required for tool invocations; free preview is the lexpert_menu tool catalog only.
